Class 1
Initial or renewal of a commercial pilot license
- CPL (A,H)
- ATPL (A,H)
- MPL (A,H)
Duration: 4 hours for inital or 1.5 hours for renewal
Initial examination
- Medical history taken using the medical application form
- Laboratory examination of blood and urine
- ECG
- Pulmonary function test
- ENT examinations
- Audiometry (hearing test)
- Drug and alcohol screening
- Mental health assessment
- Clinical examination according to EASA
Period of validity
12 months up to the age of 59, thereafter 6 months
6 months from the age of 40 in the case of commercial transportation of passengers with aircraft that are only operated by a single pilot, for example HEMS (Helicopter Emergency Services = rescue helicopter).
